Where can I start if I want to make Macromedia Flash games?

I was planning to take a course about Flash games at UCLA, but the plan was scrapped after their schedule overlapped with summer school.





So now my only hope is to learn myself. Do any of you know any books, websites, or tutorials I can start with? And maybe after the beginning, is there another book that can take me further? Thank you guys so much.Where can I start if I want to make Macromedia Flash games?
For the basics in Action Scripting you can go to sites likes flashkit.com and kirupa.com. They have loads of tutorials for all the levels.
